What Is The District’s 2023 Permissible Residential Rent Increase In DC?

In early 2023, DC Rental Housing Commission approved an 8.9% Consumer Price Index (CPI) increase on rent controlled housing accommodations (6.9% plus 2% per applicable law). This rent increase is effective from May 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024.
