Is Your Maryland Condo Building Over 40 Years Old?

If your condominium building is over 40 years old, the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development may be reaching out to your Association to collect information on your building. The Maryland DHCD is required to report its findings to the Maryland General Assembly by December 1, 2026.

Boards of Directors and Executive Committees of older condominiums should be ready to comply with DHCD inquiries once they are received.
